About the role

Picoids is hiring a Fresher Java Developer (Junior Engineer) at our Bikaner office in Rajasthan. The role is on-site only—not remote and not based in other cities. We welcome applicants from anywhere in India who are willing to relocate to Bikaner for full-time work.

As a junior software engineer, you will learn Java back-end development and web technologies under structured mentorship from senior engineers. We focus on building fundamentals—clean code, debugging, code reviews, and teamwork—in a supportive on-site environment.

Applicants from Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota, and Ajmer, elsewhere in Rajasthan, and across India are encouraged to apply if open to relocating. Ideal for those searching fresher engineer opportunities nationwide. No prior industry experience is required.

What you'll do

  • Write clean and efficient Java and web application code under mentorship
  • Collaborate with team members on front-end and back-end tasks
  • Troubleshoot software issues and learn debugging best practices
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle
  • Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and planning sessions

Required skills

  • Fresh graduate or early-career candidate (0–1 year experience)
  • Willingness to relocate and work on-site in Bikaner, Rajasthan
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for coding
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for an on-site team environment
  • Willingness to learn Java, web technologies, and new tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Added advantage

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic programming experience in Java or any object-oriented language
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end web development
  • Knowledge of databases and REST APIs
  • Exposure to Git, cloud platforms, or modern development tools

Compensation & benefits

  • Salary: ₹15,000 per month, including PF
